Physical Therapy

Pediatric physical therapy helps children move, play, and grow with confidence. Our therapists are experts in building strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and postural control, all the building blocks kids need for everyday activities like crawling, walking, running, and jumping. We also address challenges like bowel and bladder concerns, using advanced pelvic floor training when needed. PT is about maximizing each child’s functional potential, helping them participate fully in the activities they love and setting up healthy movement patterns for the future.

Methodologies & Protocols We Use
ALL therapeutic activities are guided by research
Neurodevelopmental Treatment (NDT)
A hands-on approach that assesses the whole body and facilitates more optimal movement patterns through postural control and strengthening, allowing for an efficient motor plan.
Manual therapy
Hands-on mobilization and manipulation of joints, soft tissues, and nerves by a clinician to address an individual’s pain levels, movement quality, muscle stiffness, joint mobility, and overall range of motion.
Myofascial Release
Hands-on that targets restrictions in the fascia (the tissue around muscles) to decreases tightness and improves flexibility.
Orthotic Management
An orthotic device is used to support or align a body part (such as cranial orthoses, ankle foot orthoses, etc.) to help optimal movement and allow proper muscle activation to promote overall muscle strength and postural stability.
